- Develop in students those skills necessary to perform the functions of Basic Level Occupational Risk Prevention Technician. - Acquire knowledge that allows students to identify, avoid, correct and prevent specific problems that may endanger the health and integrity of workers. - Know the laws and regulations regarding occupational risk prevention based on the Occupational Risk Prevention Law. - Analyze the different action plans, prevention and first aid techniques that favor or help overcome different risk situations. - Know the regulations for the prevention of occupational risks and the risk prevention management systems in the company, acquiring the necessary capacity to carry out work in chemical companies in the safest way. - Acquire the necessary knowledge to avoid any incident or associated risk and know how to act correctly in the event of an emergency in the company. - Acquire the necessary capacity to carry out work in a safer way, establishing basic safety and hygiene standards, actively seeking to avoid pollution in the environment, avoid risks of infection, damage to health, etc. - Implement or improve a safety management system in chemical companies, through knowledge of tools, modalities and organizations involved in prevention management. Know the basics of first aid. - Acquire the knowledge and ability necessary to act in emergency situations such as cardiorespiratory arrest, wounds and bleeding, trauma, etc.
