UF0158 Course Performing auxiliary activities in the care, transport and handling of animals

In the field of the agrarian world it is necessary to know the different fields in the auxiliary activities in livestock, within the professional livestock area. Thus, with this course it is intended to provide the necessary knowledge for the realization of auxiliary activities in the care, transport and management of animals.

- Identify and perform the care that is carried out on replacement animals to obtain their adaptation to exploitation and adaptation as breeders. - Distinguish the marking and/or identification systems of the rereading and bait animals according to the species and apply the management procedures necessary to carry out them. - Describe the methods of obtaining, transporting, storage and conservation, production (animals for sale, products or by -products) of livestock exploitation and, at all times, the basic operations that proceed. - Detail the auxiliary operations of the conservation processes of the raw materials, preparation and distribution of food rations (volumetric and concentrated) and perform them by applying the established techniques and the means available to livestock exploitation.

It develops its professional activity on behalf of others, in the area or department of production of large, medium and small livestock farms, public or private.

This training adjusts to the training itinerary of the UF0158 training unit. They are publishing the different autonomous communities, as well as the Ministry of Labor itself (Royal Decree 659/2023, of July 18, which develops the management of the professional training system and establishes a permanent procedure for the accreditation of professional competences acquired by work experience or non -formal training).

This course is aimed at the professionals of the agrarian world, specifically in auxiliary activities in livestock, within the professional livestock area, and to all those interested in acquiring knowledge related to the realization of auxiliary activities in the care, transport and management of animals.

This training is not included in the scope of official regulated training (Infant Education, Primary Education, Secondary Education, Official Professional Training FP, Baccalaureate, University Degree, Official University Master and PhD). It is therefore a complementary and/or specialization training, aimed at acquiring certain skills, skills or aptitudes of a professional nature, being able to be barely as merit in workbags and/or opposition competitions, always within the complementary training section and/or continuous training being always essential to review the specific requirements of the public labor stock of the public labor stock market.
