In the field of the world of sociocultural and community services, it is necessary to know the different fields of care for students with special educational needs (ACNEE), within the professional area of training and education. Thus, this course aims to provide the necessary knowledge for recreational activity programs during recess and to accompany students with special educational needs (ACNEE) both when traveling and in carrying out activities related to the personal autonomy and hygiene and teaching-learning programs, during the school period, using methodology, techniques and resources, under the supervision of the interdisciplinary team of the educational center, to satisfy the basic needs of hygiene, food and rest of the ACNEE, ensuring their autonomy and guaranteeing its safety, complying with the regulations applicable in educational centers.

Objectives

The objectives to be achieved by carrying out this Recess Activities Course are the following: - Identify the needs of an ACNEE to go out to recess, selecting the required clothing and personal objects. - Determine the location of an ACNEE with mobility difficulties, in areas of the yard, considering their integration and socialization. - Apply action protocols pre-established by an educational center, related to the care and surveillance of an ACNEE during recreation periods. - Analyze the development and evaluation of social autonomy programs during recess, to achieve, in collaboration with the tutor, the acquisition of social and communication skills by an ACNEE. - Analyze recreational activity programs during recess, identifying the process of their development, execution and evaluation based on the characteristics of an ACNEE.

Career opportunities

After completing this Recreation Activities Course, develop your professional activity in educational centers, in the public, private and subsidized spheres, such as: ordinary early childhood education centers (0 to six years old) and primary education, special education centers, secondary education institutes (IES), vocational training institutes and centers with professional insertion programs. In the development of professional activity, the principles of universal accessibility are applied in accordance with current legislation.
