What it prepares you for

This course will provide the student with the necessary knowledge to carry out both entertainment activities and physical activity exercises with the elderly sector with the aim of guaranteeing their well-being and improving their quality of life. It will also enable the student to organize sociocultural animation activities, both in the urban environment and in nature. This Course Monitor – Sociocultural Animator is Accredited by the ANTONIO DE NEBRIJA UNIVERSITY with 5 European University Credits (ECTS), being baremable in the job market and competition-competition of the Public Administration (Course approved for oppositions of the Ministry of Education, section 2.5, Royal Decree 276/2007).

This course is aimed at all those Early Childhood Education Teachers, Primary Education, Secondary Education Teachers, Psychologists, Pedagogues, Psychopedagogues, etc. and, in general, any University Graduate interested in carrying out their professional work in the teaching field. Double Qualification: - Professional Qualification of Animation and Physical Activity Monitor with Elderly People issued by EDUSPORT and Accredited by the SPANISH FITNESS FEDERATION (FEF) to which you will be able to access as a Federated Member receiving the corresponding Professional Card in Animation and Physical Activity with Elderly People, in addition once the training is completed, the student will become part of the Spanish Registry of Exercise Professionals (ESREPs) that includes the exercise professionals, establishing a QUALITY STANDARD and a PROFESSIONAL REGISTER to guarantee safe and effective advice to clients using fitness facilities by QUALIFIED PROFESSIONALS. The Spanish Fitness Federation only accredits content related to physical activity; any mention of technical-tactical aspects is outside its powers and accreditation. - University Degree in Sociocultural Monitor-Animator from the ANTONIO DE NEBRIJA UNIVERSITY with 5 ECTS University Credits. Course counted as merits for competitive examinations for access to the public teaching function in all CCs. AA., according to R.D. 276/2007 of February 23 (BOE 2/3/2007). This is carried out within the permanent training plan for teachers of the Antonio de Nebrija University.
