- Provide students with the necessary theoretical foundation to understand in depth the concept of aging and what this process entails. -Learn and acquire the skills and competencies necessary to treat a patient in a geriatric regime and thus increase their quality and satisfaction of hospital life. - Carry out the correct control of the organizational aspects and material resources according to the healthcare area in which it is located. - Learn the necessary knowledge of the main pathologies in the elderly. - Know the techniques, tools and means of evaluation in old age and disease prevention and health promotion at this age. - Learn to understand and adequately interpret reality in old age, taking into account aspects such as nutrition and possible external variables that condition life, such as its social-family aspect.
