Objectives

- Carry out the fine-tuning and first-level maintenance of the machinery, equipment and auxiliary facilities necessary for the production of fats and margarines. - Control and carry out the production of margarines, following the technical specifications, so that the products obtained have their correct identification and storage. - Control and carry out the production of edible fats and other fats using the procedures established in the technical specifications. - Verify that, both in the process and in the final product, the margarines and fats obtained conform to the established quality criteria. - Apply the necessary prevention and protection measures to guarantee personal safety and hygiene, in the process and in the area of ​​fat and margarine production.

Companies in the food industry extracting, obtaining and packaging seed oils and obtaining edible fats. They are employed or self-employed workers who carry out their activity with technical autonomy in the functional areas of reception, extraction, production and packaging.

This training is in accordance with the training itinerary of the Training Module MF0554_2 Production of fats and margarines, certifying that you have passed the different Units of Competence included in it, and is aimed at the accreditation of the Professional Competencies acquired through work experience and non-formal training, through which you will be eligible to obtain the corresponding Certificate of Professionalism, through the respective calls published by the different Autonomous Communities, as well as the Ministry of Labor itself (Royal Decree 659/2023, of July 18, which develops the organization of the Vocational Training System and establishes a permanent procedure for the accreditation of professional skills acquired through work experience or non-formal training).
