Objectives

- Relate the characteristics of the different types of product to be roasted with the corresponding raw material, as well as its origin and origin. - Apply the reception, storage, cleaning and preparation techniques of coffee and raw materials, operating the necessary equipment with skill, precision and safety in order to achieve optimal performance and the required quality. - Check that the coffee reception and preparation process is carried out in a way that ensures compliance with the final and specific characteristics of the batch. - Carry out tests to check the results of the samples taken during the production process. - Apply the necessary protective measures to guarantee safety during the reception and preparation process of coffee and raw materials.

Content

Career opportunities

It develops its activity in the coffee industry, in small, medium and large companies, with very diverse organizational and technological levels. You join a work team with other people of the same or lower level of qualification, where you will carry out individual and group tasks on the treatment of raw materials, processing roasted coffee, making coffee and soluble substitutes. In general, you will report organically to a middle manager. In certain cases, in small industries, or in which manual operations are still relevant, it may exercise functions of supervision of operators and depend, in its exercise, directly on the production manager.

What it prepares you for

This training is in accordance with the training itinerary of the Training Module MF0760_2 Warehouse operations and control of roasted products and extruded snacks, certifying having passed the different Units of Competence included in it, and is aimed at the accreditation of the professional Competencies acquired through work experience and non-formal training, through which you will be eligible to obtain the corresponding Certificate of Professionalism, through the respective calls published by the different Autonomous Communities, as well as the Ministry of Labor itself (Royal Decree 659/2023, of July 18, which develops the organization of the Vocational Training System and establishes a permanent procedure for the accreditation of professional skills acquired through work experience or non-formal training).
