What it prepares you for

The Pre-Preparation, Preparation and Presentation in Pastry course prepares you to master advanced hygiene and safety techniques in the kitchen, guaranteeing a clean and safe environment. You will learn to handle specific machinery, select and pre-prepare raw materials, and make doughs, fillings, creams, syrups and jams. You will also be trained in the preparation of pastas, mignardises, petit fours, sauces, coulis, sorbets, ice creams, desserts, cakes and savory pastries. Finally, you will develop skills in product presentation and decoration, using candy and fruits to embellish your creations. This course is complementary training and does not qualify for professional practice. This training conforms to the training itinerary of the Training Module MF1334_1 Pre-preparation, Preparation and Presentation in Pastry, certifying having passed the different Units of Competence included in it, and is aimed at the accreditation of the Professional Competencies acquired through work experience and non-formal training, through which you will opt to obtain the corresponding Certificate of Professionalism, through the respective calls published by the different Communities. Autonomous, as well as the Ministry of Labor itself (Royal Decree 659/2023, of July 18, which develops the organization of the Vocational Training System and establishes a permanent procedure for the accreditation of professional skills acquired through work experience or non-formal training).
