- Distinguish the different types of concrete, characterizing its components, properties and scope of application. - Differentiate the equipment, techniques and procedures related to the placement of concrete, describing the development of the different processes -transport, pouring, compaction and curing-, and relating their effect on the final properties of the concrete. - Distinguish the different types of formwork systems, characterizing their elements and typical configurations depending on their scope of application. - Distinguish the different types of passive reinforcement for concrete, characterizing its elements and typical configurations, as well as the reinforcing procedures on the reinforcing work. - Apply control techniques for the construction of formwork, describing and proposing assembly and construction procedures. - Apply organizational and supervision techniques to the installation work of passive reinforcement, describing and proposing procedures for placing rebar and complementary reinforcement. - Apply organization and supervision techniques to concrete installation work.

Career opportunities

He carries out his activity in the area of execution, as a salaried worker in small, medium and large private companies, under the direction and supervision of a production manager and/or a construction manager, or a manager - when integrated into the organizational chart as a foreman. Organizes and supervises its own workers and those of different subcontractors. Collaborates in risk prevention within its scope of responsibility, being able to perform the basic function of occupational risk prevention.
