- Describe the different operations of the upholstery process, analyzing them in different types of furniture. - Prepare the basic machines and tools in accordance with the disassembly, cutting stripping, assembly or assembly techniques and in accordance with the requirements of the materials, to leave them in an operational situation. - Dismantle or strip upholstered furniture for restoration. - Prepare and cut materials using different procedures by hand or by machine, depending on the item to be upholstered and applying safety criteria. - Carry out preparation and assembly operations by hand and/or machine of the parts and accessories for covers and/or covers depending on the model, applying safety criteria. - Carry out preparation and assembly operations for furniture upholstery, with the expected presentation and quality.
Medium or small business or artisan workshop, self-employed or employed, dedicated to upholstering furniture and covering walls, ceilings and wall panels.
This training is in accordance with the training itinerary of the Training Unit UF1035 Furniture Upholstery Techniques, certifying having passed the different Competence Units included in it, and is aimed at the accreditation of the professional Competencies acquired through work experience and non-formal training, through which you will opt to obtain the corresponding Certificate of Professionalism, through the respective calls published by the different Autonomous Communities, as well as the Ministry itself. of Labor (Royal Decree 659/2023, of July 18, which develops the organization of the Vocational Training System and establishes a permanent procedure for the accreditation of professional skills acquired through work experience or non-formal training).
