MF0947_3 course assembly and postproduction planning

In the field of image and sound, it is necessary to know the different fields of audiovisual assembly and postproduction, within the professional area of audiovisual production. Thus, with this course it is intended to provide the necessary knowledge for the planning of assembly and postproduction.

- Differentiate the main theories and techniques of audiovisual assembly, identifying the characteristic elements that determine them, for their application in the construction of audiovisual stories according to the various genres and styles. - Relate the asset and postproduction processes of audiovisual programs identifying, describing and recognizing the professional departments and teams involved in their different phases. - Analyze the characteristics and performance of the technical materials and equipment used in the assembly/postproduction of audiovisual products, through practical experimentation with equipment. - Assess the characteristics of the different formats and systems of film, video and audio used in the production of audiovisual programs, to ensure their adaptation to the project requirements. - Plan the assembly/postproduction processes of a characterized project, preparing the corresponding technical documentation.

It develops its professional activity in the asset or postproduction room of the communication departments of large companies, in film and video producers, in television stations, of any size, public and private, of reduced or wide coverage, whatever its dissemination system. It works on behalf of others or autonomously (freelance).

This training adjusts to the training itinerary of the MF0947_3 training module and postproduction planning, certifying having exceeded the different competition units included, and is aimed at the accreditation of the professional competences acquired through the work experience and the non -formal training, via which will opt for obtaining the corresponding certificate of professionalism, through the respective calls They are publishing the different autonomous communities, as well as the Ministry of Labor itself (Royal Decree 659/2023, of July 18, which develops the management of the professional training system and establishes a permanent procedure for the accreditation of professional competences acquired by work experience or non -formal training).

This course is aimed at professionals in the world of image and sound, more specifically those linked to the assets and postproduction of audiovisuals, and to all those interested in acquiring knowledge related to the planning of assembly and postproduction.

This training is not included in the scope of official regulated training (Infant Education, Primary Education, Secondary Education, Official Professional Training FP, Baccalaureate, University Degree, Official University Master and PhD). It is therefore a complementary and/or specialization training, aimed at acquiring certain skills, skills or aptitudes of a professional nature, being able to be barely as merit in workbags and/or opposition competitions, always within the complementary training section and/or continuous training being always essential to review the specific requirements of the public labor stock of the public labor stock market.
