Energy consumption is one of the great meters of the progress and well-being of a society. The concept of energy crisis appears when the energy sources that supply society are exhausted. An economic model like the current one, whose operation depends on continuous growth, also requires an equally growing demand for energy. Since fossil and nuclear energy sources are finite, it is inevitable that at a certain point demand cannot be supplied and the entire system collapses. This course will prepare the student to deal with possible malfunctions of a facility, comply with current legislation and show the different computer applications that exist in the area.
