Stomatherapy is the set of techniques, care and procedures that are carried out for the ostomized patient. That is, it focuses on the care of people who, for different reasons, have undergone surgery whose purpose is to create a duct through which fecal and/or urinary matter, body waste or body secretions are conveyed to the outside, through an opening in the abdomen. These patients require a series of care and attention not only on a physical level, but also on a psychological level and in everything related to dietary patterns.
