Objectives

- Develop in students those skills necessary to perform the functions of Basic Level Occupational Risk Prevention Technician. - Acquire knowledge that allows students to identify, avoid, correct and prevent specific problems that may endanger the health and integrity of workers. - Know the laws and regulations regarding occupational risk prevention based on the Occupational Risk Prevention Law. - Analyze the different action plans, prevention and first aid techniques that favor or help overcome different risk situations. - Make known the basic concepts and minimum requirements of the Occupational Risk Prevention Law in the field of carpentry and furniture and which must be applied by companies in this sector. - Identify and analyze the different risks that may arise in each of the phases and activities carried out in the carpentry and furniture sector. - Know the main rights and obligations that workers and entrepreneurs in the carpentry and furniture sector must assume in relation to risk prevention. Analyze and study the different preventive measures, both individually and collectively, that must be used to prevent risks in the tasks and processes of the Wood Industry.

Occupational Risk Prevention Technician in Carpentry and Furniture

What it prepares you for

Through this action, students will be able to prepare as technicians in occupational risk prevention in the carpentry and furniture sector, in accordance with current regulations (Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs). At the end of the training action, the student will have basic knowledge of occupational health and risk prevention and will be qualified to perform the preventive functions included in Art. 35 of the R.D. 39/1997, according to the Prevention Services Regulation.

This training action is aimed at those professionals who wish to carry out the occupational risk prevention plan for their small company (less than 6 workers), or cooperate in risk prevention tasks in large companies.
