UF0110 course electrical and optical methods of chemical analysis

At present, market competition is considered as the main factor when developing chemical analysis. The new creations make it essential to organize and apply techniques and methods of chemical and instrumental analysis, on subjects and products, oriented to quality and research control, acting under standards of good laboratory, personal and environmental security practices. Therefore, this course is intended to provide theoretical-practical knowledge to be able to perform and/or direct the electrical and optical methods of chemical analysis.

- Enter the scientific-technical bases that support the analysis by electrical and optical methods, relating the type of instrument to the properties that it measures and with the parameters that are analyzed. - Select the appropriate method and technique according to the analysis of the analysis and after the realization of a documentary consultation. - Prepare the planned reagents, samples and equipment, relating the latter and the techniques used in the realization of instrumental chemical analysis, with the parameters of the substance analyzed. - Perform chemical analysis, for quantitative determinations, by instrumental means, using adequate electrical or optical analytical techniques, fulfilling the principles of good laboratory practices. - Evaluate the validity of the results obtained in the analysis, interpreting the records and informing the results.

This analyst will exercise its activity in companies or laboratories from different sectors, in which chemical and instrumental analysis is needed to check the quality levels of the samples to analyze or investigate new analysis procedures to respond to new situations, or improve the efficiency and/or effectiveness of the procedures in force.

This training is adjusted to the training itinerary of the UF0110 training unit. Publishing the different autonomous communities, as well as the Ministry of Labor itself (Royal Decree 659/2023, of July 18, which develops the management of the professional training system and establishes a permanent procedure for the accreditation of professional competences acquired by work experience or non -formal training).

This course is aimed at the professionals of the world of chemistry, specifically in chemical analysis, within the professional analysis and control area, and to all those interested in acquiring knowledge related to electrical and optical methods of chemical analysis.

This training is not included in the scope of official regulated training (Infant Education, Primary Education, Secondary Education, Official Professional Training FP, Baccalaureate, University Degree, Official University Master and PhD). It is therefore a complementary and/or specialization training, aimed at acquiring certain skills, skills or aptitudes of a professional nature, being able to be barely as merit in workbags and/or opposition competitions, always within the complementary training section and/or continuous training being always essential to review the specific requirements of the public labor stock of the public labor stock market.
