UF0248 Course Planning of the Editorial Product

In the field of graphic arts, it is necessary to know the different fields of editorial production, within the professional area of the edition. Thus, with this course it is intended to provide the necessary knowledge for the planning of editorial production, more specifically for the planning of the editorial product.

- Define the functions and processes involved in the development of an editorial product, based on the technical data of the editorial sector. - Analyze and specify the needs of an editorial product in terms of texts, images of printing processes, finishes and binding. - Prepare programming for the execution of graphic projects. - Analyze the processes and methods used in the supply and purchase operations of a defined editorial product. - Plan the different graphic processes for the realization of an editorial product so that delivery deadlines and quality specifications are met. - Determine the needs for the logistics of the product once finished.

It develops its functions on their own and others in publishers, advertising agencies, graphic design studies, industrial design studies, departments, offices or information cabinets of organizations, press, workshops or printing or predimpression industries.

This training is adjusted to the training itinerary of the Formative Unit UF0248 Planning of the editorial product, certifying having exceeded the different competence units included, and is aimed at the accreditation of the professional competences acquired through the work experience and the non -formal training, via which will opt for obtaining the corresponding certificate of professionalism, through the respective calls Autonomous communities, as well as the Ministry of Labor itself (Royal Decree 659/2023, of July 18, which develops the management of the professional training system and establishes a permanent procedure for the accreditation of professional competences acquired by work experience or non -formal training).

This course is aimed at professionals from the world of graphic arts, more specifically those linked to editorial production, within the professional editing area, and all those interested in acquiring knowledge related to long -distance transport.

This training is not included in the scope of official regulated training (Infant Education, Primary Education, Secondary Education, Official Professional Training FP, Baccalaureate, University Degree, Official University Master and PhD). It is therefore a complementary and/or specialization training, aimed at acquiring certain skills, skills or aptitudes of a professional nature, being able to be barely as merit in workbags and/or opposition competitions, always within the complementary training section and/or continuous training being always essential to review the specific requirements of the public labor stock of the public labor stock market.
