UF1238 course of pottery pieces

In the field of arts and crafts, it is necessary to know the different fields of artisanal pottery, within the professional artisanal and ceramic professional area. Thus, this course is intended to provide the necessary knowledge to produce artisanal pottery objects defining the economic plan and planning the elaboration process obtaining the products manually, decorating and cooking the pieces, guaranteeing quality and following in the entire process the regulations on occupational hazards and environmental management.

- Apply drying procedures at room temperature of artisanal pottery products with quality and safety criteria. - Identify defects of pottery pieces associated with the drying process, with quality criteria.

He develops his artisanal activity as an independent professional in his own workshop, carrying out his own jobs, or orders for other workshops. You can also develop your trade in small or medium ceramic workshops, acting as a dependent worker in the area of production execution, carrying out their work within the framework of the functions and objectives assigned by higher level technicians to theirs and coordinating small working groups.

This training is adjusted to the training itinerary of the UF1238 formative unit drying of pottery pieces, certifying having exceeded the different competence units included, and is aimed at the accreditation of the professional competences acquired through the work experience and the non -formal training, via which you will choose to obtain the corresponding certificate of professionalism, through the respective calls Autonomous communities, as well as the Ministry of Labor itself (Royal Decree 659/2023, of July 18, which develops the management of the professional training system and establishes a permanent procedure for the accreditation of professional competences acquired by work experience or non -formal training).

This course is aimed at professionals in the world of arts and crafts, specifically in artisanal pottery, within the professional artisanal glass and ceramic area, and to all those interested in acquiring knowledge related to the drying of pottery pieces.

This training is not included in the scope of official regulated training (Infant Education, Primary Education, Secondary Education, Official Professional Training FP, Baccalaureate, University Degree, Official University Master and PhD). It is therefore a complementary and/or specialization training, aimed at acquiring certain skills, skills or aptitudes of a professional nature, being able to be barely as merit in workbags and/or opposition competitions, always within the complementary training section and/or continuous training being always essential to review the specific requirements of the public labor stock of the public labor stock market.
