- Delimit the role of the sociocultural animator and the free time monitor, describing their functions, responsibilities, professional profile and areas of intervention. - Describe the processes and stages in the planning and programming of sociocultural animation projects in the educational area. - Analyze the bases of the direction and coordination of groups of monitors and animators, focusing on the tasks of organizing activities in different natural and urban environments. - Present and develop the techniques, procedures and basic methodology of the coordinator of sociocultural monitors and animators to carry out their tasks. - Present the basic safety and risk prevention measures and techniques and point out the essential guidelines for emergency action. - Provide different tools for the development of leisure and free time activities: socio-cultural, sports and outdoor activities taking into account the environment in which they are projected, urban and nature. - Know the methodology that underlies the planning and application of the different activities to be programmed, working especially on the definition of specific objectives, the coordination and organization of work and the supervision of activities. - Know the functions and main characteristics that define the profile of the leisure and free time monitor and recognize the influence of leisure and free time activities in the educational field.
