Cancer can be defined as a genetic process characterized by the appearance of a cellular clone that escapes the physiological control of cellular growth and differentiation. There are differences between tumors in children and adults: the clinical, histopathological and biological behaviors of pediatric tumors have their specific characteristics. We live in a society strongly conditioned by economic evolution and great technological development. A society in constant evolution that, increasingly, requires specialized professionals capable of adapting to a changing labor landscape. Thus, the main objective of this Childhood Cancer Specialist Course is to provide solid training to know how to function and act in a correct and professional manner in the situations of these childhood pathologies.
