Treasury management, both in financial institutions and in companies in general, has gradually become more sophisticated over the last decade. Therefore, the management of currency risk and interest rate risk has been enriched by the emergence of multiple financial instruments, both speculation and hedging. On the other hand, the concentration of large volumes of liquidity in treasuries, together with the possibility of leverage that derivative instruments offer today, require increasingly rigorous and efficient control of the positions adopted in the different markets. Therefore, the course aims to transmit knowledge of everything related to the treasury budget, program applications, means of collection and payment and record books, to be able to function in an adequate and updated manner in the field of treasury management.
