He carries out his professional activity, both on his own account and as an employee, on ships dedicated to the maritime transport of cargo and/or passengers, to pilotage, security and maritime rescue services, to auxiliary services of aquaculture, research, diving, or others, in ports, estuaries, bays and places near the coast with limitations on the tonnage of the ship, navigations to be carried out, maximum number of passengers to transport and engine propulsion power.

What it prepares you for

This training is in accordance with the training itinerary of the Training Unit UF1635 Preparation and execution of loading and unloading operations of the ship, belonging to the Training Module MF0538_2 Maneuver and stability of the ship, certifying having passed the different Competence Units included in it, and is aimed at the accreditation of the Professional Competencies acquired through work experience and non-formal training, via which you will opt to obtain the corresponding Certificate of Professionalism, through the respective calls published by the different Autonomous Communities, as well as the Ministry of Labor itself (Royal Decree 659/2023, of July 18, which develops the organization of the Vocational Training System and establishes a permanent procedure for the accreditation of professional skills acquired through work experience or non-formal training).
