MF0345-1 course mechanical hair removal and hair discoloration

Activities such as beautifying the nails, applying hair removal techniques by mechanical procedures and discoloring it and performing day makeup, respecting safety and health standards during processes, preparing products, supplies and devices, hygienizing them, disinfecting them or sterilizing them, all under the supervision of the responsible technician, is a function that becomes a general importance in society. Thus, with this course it is intended to provide the necessary knowledge to eliminate by mechanical procedures and discolor the hair.

- Analyze the characteristics of the hair and the area to select the most appropriate hair removal or discoloration technique. - Select and prepare cosmetics, material and devices necessary to perform the mechanical hair removal and technique of discoloration of facial and body hair. - Apply client preparation and accommodation techniques depending on the removal or decoloration service. - Apply with skill the hair discoloration techniques based on the characteristics of the area, observing adequate safety and hygiene measures. - Apply facial and body mechanical hair removal with tweezers and wax and attending to the characteristics of the area, observing adequate safety and hygiene measures. - Evaluate the processes and results in mechanical hair removal techniques and hair discoloration to improve the service.

It develops its professional activity in small and medium -sized companies of aesthetics and hairdresser by person: beauty centers, hairdressers. Also in hotels, gyms, geriatric, spas and spa centers.

This course will provide students with the knowledge necessary to eliminate by mechanical procedures and discolor the hair. The present formation is adjusted to the training itinerary of the MF0345_1_1 Mechanical hair removal and discoloration of the hair, certifying having exceeded the different units of competition included, and is aimed at the accreditation of the professional competences acquired through the work experience and of the non -formal training and of the non -formal training. that will choose to obtain the corresponding certificate of professionalism, through the respective calls that are publishing the different autonomous communities, as well as the Ministry of Labor itself (Royal Decree 659/2023, of July 18, which develops the management of the professional training system and establishes a permanent procedure for the accreditation of professional competences acquired by work experience or non -formal training).

This training is not included in the scope of official regulated training (Infant Education, Primary Education, Secondary Education, Official Professional Training FP, Baccalaureate, University Degree, Official University Master and PhD).
