The program is designed so that, at the end of your studies, you have acquired the following skills: - Diagnosis and Evaluation: Use technical tools to early identify developmental disorders or risk situations, designing intervention plans adapted to each case. - Intervention in Natural Environments: Apply work models that place the family and the child's environment as central axes of the therapeutic and educational process. - Multidisciplinary Work: Coordinate actions with psychology, speech therapy, physiotherapy and education professionals, integrating different perspectives into a common work plan. - Addressing Specific Disorders: Implement updated action strategies for Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and other neurodevelopmental disorders. - Evidence-Based Practice: Critically analyze scientific advances in Early Care to rigorously incorporate them into your clinical or teaching practice.
The specialization in Early Care allows you to practice in various areas where child development is the central axis: Social and Health Field: - Public, private or subsidized Child Development and Early Care Centers (CDIAT). - Neonatology and Pediatrics Units in hospitals and health centers. - Child rehabilitation and neuropsychology centers. - Pediatric speech therapy and physiotherapy services. Educational Area: - Special Education Centers and Early Childhood and Primary Education Centers. - Educational guidance services and psycho-pedagogical offices. - Nursery schools (0-3 and 0-6 years), nurseries and play centers. Social and Community Area: - Community social services and child protection programs. - Organizations and institutions focused on early childhood care and support for families. Consulting and Entrepreneurship: - Technical advice to child intervention centers and services. - Free exercise of the profession in private offices (Self-employment).
