The objectives to be achieved by carrying out this Behavior Modification Course in Dogs are the following: - Apply techniques for evaluating unwanted behaviors of dogs in different living environments, susceptible to correction. - Apply techniques for evaluating unwanted behaviors of dogs in different living environments, related to emotionality. - Apply techniques to modify the dog's aggressive and/or predatory behavior, to normalize its social behavior or apply the necessary palliative measures, taking into account animal welfare criteria, according to current regulations on the matter.
After taking this Dog Behavior Modification Course you will be able to develop your professional activity in adoption centers for abandoned animals or veterinary clinics. You will also be able to work in private homes, as well as in public administrations and/or entities, related to the breeding, training, care and sporting and recreational activities of dogs.
This training conforms to the training itinerary of Training Module MF1742_2 Modification of unwanted behaviors in dogs, certifying having passed the different Competence Units included in it. And it is aimed at the accreditation of the Professional Competencies acquired through work experience and non-formal training, a route through which you will be eligible to obtain the corresponding Certificate of Professionalism, through the respective calls published by the different Autonomous Communities, as well as the Ministry of Labor itself (Royal Decree 659/2023, of July 18, which develops the organization of the Vocational Training System and establishes a permanent procedure for accreditation. of professional skills acquired through work experience or non-formal training).
