The Selection, Puppy Preparation and Integration of Dogs from Outside the Breeding Line to Be Trained as Assistance Dogs course prepares you to design and develop assistance dog breeding programs, implement stimulation programs for puppies, and select and form foster families. You will learn to effectively monitor the puppy's fostering process and evaluate the suitability of external dogs for integration. This complementary training is aimed at professionals and graduates in the sector who seek to expand or update their knowledge. This training is in accordance with the training itinerary of the Training Module MF2016_3 Selection, preparation of the puppy and integration of dogs external to the breeding line to be trained as assistance dogs, certifying having passed the different Units of Competence included in it, and is aimed at the accreditation of the Professional Competencies acquired through work experience and non-formal training, a route through which you will opt to obtain the corresponding Certificate of Professionalism, through the respective calls that are published by the different Autonomous Communities, as well as the Ministry of Labor itself (Royal Decree 659/2023, of July 18, which develops the organization of the Vocational Training System and establishes a permanent procedure for the accreditation of professional skills acquired through work experience or non-formal training).
