The collection and treatment of wastewater is an unavoidable necessity for the care of aquatic ecosystems and the rational use of water resources. However, despite the great evolution of recent years, there are still many issues to be addressed, such as purification in small towns, and aspects to improve, such as stormwater management. But in addition, many facilities are beginning to reach their useful life, and must be updated, expanded and improved within the new perspective of the circular economy. In this course, the different wastewater purification treatments, the reuse of treated water, the design of a WWTP, the treatment of sludge, and the operation and maintenance of a WWTP are studied in depth. At the end of the course, you will be able to: Understand the different processes that wastewater must go through to be discharged into a river (pretreatment, primary treatment and secondary treatment). Design a WWTP. Understand tertiary treatment and applications of reused water. Know how the sludge resulting from the purification process should be treated. Operate and maintain wastewater treatment plants
The E.D.A.R. Exploitation and Design course opens opportunities in environmental engineering and water management. Specialize in primary, secondary and tertiary treatments, as well as sludge and gas management. Become an expert in purification facilities, plant operations and assume key roles in consultancies and sanitation companies to guarantee the sustainability of the water resource. Accredit your ability to improve the efficiency of WWTPs and contribute to the environment.
The course "Exploitation and Design of E.D.A.R." equips you to address current challenges in wastewater treatment. It delves into purification methods, from primary to tertiary treatments, and the efficient management of sludge and gas. You will learn to design Wastewater Treatment Plants, optimize their operation and apply principles of reuse and circular economy in operation and maintenance, contributing to the care of ecosystems and water sustainability.
