The objectives to be achieved by carrying out this Childhood Dysphonia Course are the following: - Know the acoustic characteristics of the child's voice. - Learn the classification and description of vocal pathologies in children. - Know the clinical history of childhood dysphonia. - Know the psychological aspects of childhood dysphonia. - Learn the aspects for the prevention of childhood dysphonia. - Know the different dimensions and components of oral and written language. - Know in depth the development of the communication and language process. - Evaluate language through different procedures. - Know the different speech and written language disorders. - Know the disorders of language development.
After completing this Childhood Dysphonia Course, you will be able to work as a Speech Therapist technician, and develop your knowledge of pedagogy and psychopedagogy. Work in centers with educators and teachers in the field of education (Educational Centers, Reinforcement, etc.). You can also develop yourself by working in Associations (Multiple Sclerosis, Cerebral Palsy, Laryngectomized Patients) and in Private Consultations.
This Specialist Course in Speech Therapy in Childhood Dysphonia and School Speech Therapy prepares you to train and be able to work professionally as a speech therapist technician in childhood dysphonia. Also to know all the fundamental aspects and to deal with them, and finally, to know the implication of language in the different disabilities that may be found (auditory, motor, intellectual, etc.). The Course enables you to understand in greater depth how the development of oral and written language occurs and what components make it up. It provides strategies to evaluate linguistic behavior and informs us of the different disorders that we can find in oral and written language. Finally, it gives us different methodologies to promote and develop skills in language development.
