Description
This Bridge Sailor course offers you specialized training in the subject. The powers of this qualification will be to handle vessels for commercial purposes of less than 10 meters in length, as long as they do not transport more than 12 passengers, operate exclusively within inland waters and have adequate power for the vessel. To do so, they must prove completion of a boarding period of no less than 6 months performing professional services and being authorized by the peripheral bodies of the General Directorate of the Merchant Navy.

Job opportunities

With the appropriate qualification, you will be able to practice in: - Maritime transport (merchant ships, ferries, cruise ships). - Professional fishing. - Transport of goods and oil tankers. - Tugboats and dredgers.

What does it prepare you for?

This Deck Seaman course prepares you to steer the ship and carry out orders to the helmsman, maintain adequate lookout duty using sight and hearing, contribute to the surveillance and control of a safe watch, and use emergency equipment and apply emergency procedures.

Who is it addressed to?

This Bridge Seaman course is aimed at crew members of civil vessels, with the exception of fishing vessels, and/or anyone who wants to train in this subject.
