In addition, we can also say that Music Therapy is a theoretical and applied discipline that develops intervention models with music so that the professional can establish a helping relationship with people with socio-affective needs, both in individual and group settings. The course seeks to introduce and deepen everything related to music as therapy and application in various areas, as well as offer the student learning methods for the therapeutic and educational use of music. This course seeks to raise awareness that music is a tool for recreational, educational and therapeutic intervention, which opens channels of expression and communication, prevents disorders, stimulates creativity and focuses on healthy emotions to normalize the conflictive situation and stimulate learning.
