Description

The management of content produced by publishers, the preparation of texts, their publication, etc., will directly influence how the publisher is perceived within the market, that is, its competitiveness and its positioning as content producers. For this reason, the development of content corresponds to one of the basic pillars of the quality and success of the editorial product and the publishing house itself. Some of the actions carried out in content management are design, content development, layout, editing, etc. To develop all these actions, it is necessary to follow a series of principles and criteria that will allow us to produce quality editorial products. Throughout this Training Module, the basic criteria to be followed by the professionals involved in the development of content are reviewed. Thus, after completing this module, students will be trained to create quality materials. This module is divided into three different parts. On the one hand, we work with the design of editorial products. Once the concept of a graphic product is defined, the criteria for its development are studied, such as typography, layout, types of format, etc. On the other hand, guidelines are established in relation to style, typology, theme, support, content organization, etc. Finally, different ways to process images are analyzed.
