Description
The warehouse concept has changed over the years, expanding its scope of responsibility within the logistics function. Warehouse management is located on the map of logistics processes between inventory management and the order and distribution management process. This course will provide the student with the knowledge and skills necessary for the correct organization and control of operations and flows of goods in the warehouse in accordance with established procedures and current regulations, ensuring the quality and optimization of the warehouse network and/or logistics chain. Likewise, it will provide you with the necessary knowledge to efficiently and productively manage the work team within the warehouse.

This training conforms to the training itinerary of the Training Module MF1014_3 Warehouse Organization, certifying that you have passed the different Units of Competence included in it, and is aimed at the accreditation of the professional Competencies acquired through work experience and non-formal training, through which you will be eligible to obtain the corresponding Certificate of Professionalism, through the respective calls published by the different Autonomous Communities, as well as the Ministry of Labor itself. (Royal Decree 659/2023, of July 18, which develops the organization of the Vocational Training System and establishes a permanent procedure for the accreditation of professional skills acquired through work experience or non-formal training).

This course is aimed at all those people who carry out their professional work organizing and managing the warehouse or storage service in companies in any sector and wish to update their knowledge regarding the level and validity of warehouse management within the logistics chain. Objectives

- Analyze methods and techniques for optimizing space and time in the organization of warehouses, complying with current regulations. - Prepare equipment maintenance plans in facilities of different types of warehouses, according to the regulations and manufacturer's recommendations. - Develop quality systems for continuous improvement of the storage service - Determine management and leadership styles of the work team in the different situations that arise in the daily operations of a typical warehouse. - Develop resolution and negotiation strategies in different common conflict situations in the warehouse team. - Identify the most common accidents and risks in the handling and movements of merchandise in different operations within the warehouse. - Apply risk and accident prevention measures in the warehouse in accordance with current regulations and recommendations.
