Description

The new sensitivity that is permeating relationships between citizens seeks systems of relationships and conflict resolution in which the rights and dignity of people are safeguarded. In this new sensitivity, mediation emerges as an autonomous conflict resolution system, with its own methods and techniques in which the disposition of the mediators who seek in the conflict an opportunity to establish a new balance in human relationships and promote the personal development of those involved in it plays a fundamental role. Thus, this course aims to identify and specify the characteristics and needs of the social context of the intervention.

Job opportunities

It develops its activity in the programming and organization, and implementation of prevention and care activities for groups, groups and individuals for the alternative management of conflicts, preventing their appearance, as well as, once they exist, reaching satisfactory agreements for the parties involved through a mediation process. It carries out its work in the citizen services sector, in public and private institutions, with or without profit motive, mainly of a local or regional nature.
