Course MF1454-3 Participation and Creation of Networks with a Gender Perspective

The objectives to be achieved by carrying out this Social Networks Course with a Gender Perspective are the following: - Identify, in collaboration with the intervention team, the level of participation of the target population in the different areas (economic, political, social, associative and leisure, among others), disaggregating the data by sex, to facilitate the detection of the gender gap. - Promote processes of creation and consolidation of collaboration structures – associations, networks, support groups and other organizational models – that allow the participation of women in the public sphere to promote their empowerment and the creation of contacts with the agents in the intervention environment. - Act in group processes that occur in existing organizations in the intervention environment, incorporating the gender perspective, in accordance with the action protocol, to guarantee adjustment to the characteristics of the people participating in the group. - Accompany and advise women to facilitate their participation in existing structures, locating them in the intervention environment, and considering the agreement with their demands. - Promote, within the framework of the intervention project, the participation of women in the decision-making spheres of institutions, organizations and entities, public and private, in their environment, favoring the creation of networks, to enhance empowerment processes. - Accompany and advise women, following the action plans and strategies provided by the intervention team, about personal positions that allow decision-making to promote individual empowerment processes, and to those people who demand it to promote social change and roles in society.
