In the field of textile, clothing and leather, it is necessary to know the different fields of costume production for shows, within the professional area of textile and leather clothing. Thus, this course aims to provide the necessary knowledge to supervise and perform tests on the performers, assembly and finishing of the show's costumes.

He develops his professional activity in large, medium and small companies, normally private, dedicated to the production of costumes for shows. In the development of professional activity, the principles of universal accessibility are applied in accordance with current legislation.

This training conforms to the training itinerary of the Training Module MF1520_3 Techniques of Making, Testing and Finishing of Costumes for the Show, certifying having passed the different Units of Competence included in it, and is aimed at the accreditation of the professional Competencies acquired through work experience and non-formal training, through which you will be eligible to obtain the corresponding Certificate of Professionalism, through the respective calls published by the different Autonomous Communities, as well as the Ministry of Labor itself (Royal Decree 659/2023, of July 18, which develops the organization of the Vocational Training System and establishes a permanent procedure for the accreditation of professional skills acquired through work experience or non-formal training).

- Supervise and, where appropriate, carry out the assembly of the elements of the suit for testing. - Carry out the first costume fitting, blank or final, to check the volumes required by the costume design for the show. - Make adjustments and correction marks derived from the tests, for the assembly of the garments and the preparation of the second test. - Carry out the second test with all the secondary elements and, where appropriate, making the necessary adjustments, so that the costume designer and the performer can check the aesthetics and functionality of the suit. - Supervise and, where appropriate, finish the components of the suit, incorporating the closure systems, appliqués and decorations, preparing them for ironing and/or application of other finishing techniques. - Supervise and, where appropriate, transform ready-made garments to adapt them to stage use and a specific performer. - Supervise and, where appropriate, make clothing objects that fulfill a dramatic function in the representation.
