In the field of physical and sports activities, it is necessary to know the different fields of piste marking, signaling and first aid in ski areas, within the professional area of prevention and recovery. Thus, this course aims to provide the necessary knowledge for rescuing accident victims in ski areas, in mechanical cable transport and in avalanches.

He carries out his professional activity in both the public and private sectors, autonomously or following instructions from a senior manager, collaborating if necessary with others in the preparation of slopes, prevention, surveillance and rescue of accidents in natural or artificial ski areas, providing his services in town councils, active tourism companies and sports services, clubs and federations with activities related to winter sports.

This training is in accordance with the training itinerary of the Training Module MF1636_2: Rescue of accident victims in ski areas, in mechanical cable transport and in avalanches, certifying having passed the different Units of Competence included in it, and is aimed at the accreditation of the Professional Competencies acquired through work experience and non-formal training, a route through which you will opt to obtain the corresponding Certificate of Professionalism, through the respective calls that are published by the different Autonomous Communities, as well as the Ministry of Labor itself (Royal Decree 659/2023, of July 18, which develops the organization of the Vocational Training System and establishes a permanent procedure for the accreditation of professional skills acquired through work experience or non-formal training).
