Currently, in the world of physical and sports activities, it is a priority to acquire knowledge such as coordinating the resources and logistics of lifeguard services in aquatic spaces, supervising facilities and material resources and directing human resources to ensure that dangerous situations are prevented, bathing areas are permanently monitored in their entirety and, if necessary, immediate interventions are carried out in the event of an accident or emergency situation that guarantee the safety of users. Thus, with this course you will learn to direct lifeguard teams in the event of accidents in aquatic spaces.

It carries out its activity in both the public and private sectors, dedicated to coordinating prevention, surveillance and rescue services in facilities and centers with aquatic activity: conventional swimming pools, natural pools and aquatic parks among others, and in natural aquatic spaces: maritime beaches, river beaches, rivers, lakes and reservoirs among others. Its activity is carried out in: town councils (rescue teams, first aid teams, aquatic intervention units), service companies for aquatic facilities and natural aquatic spaces, active tourism companies, hotels, camping, camps, sports federations, sports-recreational and leisure clubs and associations, educational centers and related facilities, marinas.
