In the world of installation and maintenance, it is necessary to know the different fields of installation and maintenance of thermal and acoustic insulation systems and passive fire protection, within the professional area of installation and maintenance of installations. Thus, this course aims to provide the necessary knowledge in assembly techniques for insulation systems.

He develops his professional activity in small, medium and large companies in the public and private sectors dedicated to plant prefabrication, assembly and maintenance of insulation systems, except for those intended for enclosures and partitions in buildings and civil works.

This training is in accordance with the training itinerary of the Training Module MF1879_2 Techniques for assembling insulation systems, certifying that you have passed the different Units of Competence included in it, and is aimed at the accreditation of the Professional Competencies acquired through work experience and non-formal training, through which you will opt to obtain the corresponding Certificate of Professionalism, through the respective calls published by the different Autonomous Communities, as well as the Ministry of Labor itself (Royal Decree 659/2023, of July 18, which develops the organization of the Vocational Training System and establishes a permanent procedure for the accreditation of professional skills acquired through work experience or non-formal training).

- Characterize the purpose and behavior of the insulation of an installation, against thermal, acoustic and fire phenomena, among others, and its relationship with the different types of surface to be insulated. - Carry out assembly operations of support elements in insulation installations, based on assembly plans or instructions, identifying and characterizing the various materials, equipment and tools necessary. - Install insulating and coating materials that make up the insulation systems, following the assembly procedures as well as the required safety standards. - Analyze the prevention and security measures regarding the actions of handling facilities and equipment, contained in the security plans of companies in the sector. - Apply the safety plan by analyzing the company's prevention, safety and environmental protection measures. - Relate the safety means and equipment used in the assembly and maintenance of isolation systems with the risks that may arise therein. - Analyze the safety and environmental standards applicable in the assembly and maintenance processes of insulation systems, to determine the criteria and guidelines that must be followed in the assembly and maintenance operations.
