Currently, the increase in life expectancy and the permanence of people in their usual environment make it essential to have trained professionals to provide quality social and health care at home. These professionals must apply appropriate techniques and procedures that promote the well-being, security and personal autonomy of dependent people, as well as their integration into the family and social environment. For this reason, this training in Social Health Care for Dependent People at Home + Social Health Assistance at Home (Double Degree) aims to provide the knowledge and skills necessary to develop physical care and home support interventions aimed at people with social health care needs.

Upon completion of the training, students will be able to develop their professional activity in the field of home care, performing support and care functions for dependent people in their usual environment. You will be able to work in public administrations, especially in municipal and regional social services, in private companies and social entities, for-profit or non-profit, dedicated to the provision of home help services, as well as being self-employed as a self-employed worker, providing direct services to people and coexistence units or participating in the creation of companies in the social and health sector.
