Description

Royal Decree 393/2007 obliges a wide catalog of activities to have a self-protection plan drawn up by a competent technician, with a minimum content assessed in its Annex II and subject to registration, implementation and periodic review. Writing it is not filling out a template: it requires analyzing the risks of the activity with a methodology, inventorying the available means, defining the action procedures and articulating the integration with higher-level civil protection plans. This course goes through that complete work. The first part establishes the legal foundation—Basic Self-Protection Standard, National Civil Protection System, fire protection regulations, interior and exterior emergency plans—and incorporates risk analysis methods, including the Mosler method and the mixed quantitative method with calculation examples. The second develops the drafting of the plan chapter by chapter following the literal structure of Annex II, from the identification of the owner to the audit program, with the five documentary annexes that the plan must incorporate.
