In the field of Physical and Sports Activities, it is necessary to know the different fields of physical-sports and recreational animation for people with disabilities within the professional area of Physical-Sports and Recreational Activities. Thus, this course aims to provide the necessary knowledge for the direction and dynamization of events, activities and games for physical, sports and recreational animation for people with intellectual disabilities.

He develops his professional activity as a freelancer or as an employee within the framework of an animation project with physical-sports and recreational activities for people with disabilities, both in the public sphere, non-governmental organizations, foundations, associations, as well as in private entities, whether large, medium or small companies that offer active leisure, recreation, sports entertainment and active tourism services. Its activity takes place in multi-sports courts, natural environments and conditioned premises, in town halls, reference centers for people with disabilities, occupational centres, sports, recreational and leisure clubs and associations, gyms, tourist resorts, hotels, camping, spas, camps, infrastructure maintenance and/or sports management companies, following the established procedures within an interdisciplinary team, collaborating and coordinating other technicians.

This training is in accordance with the training itinerary of the Training Unit UF2086 Direct and energize physical-sports and recreational events, activities and games for people with intellectual disabilities, certifying that they have passed the different Competence Units included in it, and is aimed at accrediting the professional Competencies acquired through work experience and non-formal training, through which they will opt to obtain the corresponding Certificate of Professionalism, through the respective calls. that are published by the different Autonomous Communities, as well as the Ministry of Labor itself (Royal Decree 659/2023, of July 18, which develops the organization of the Vocational Training System and establishes a permanent procedure for the accreditation of professional skills acquired through work experience or non-formal training).
