The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) introduces a new figure, the Data Protection Officer (DPO). The DPO will be appointed based on their professional qualifications and in particular their knowledge of data protection legislation and practice, and may be part of the staff of the data controller or processor, or act within the framework of a service contract. The designation of the DPO is mandatory in many cases. With this course you will acquire the knowledge and skills that will allow you to efficiently carry out the functions of the DPO. What does it prepare you for?

- Conocer las previsiones de la normativa sobre Protección de Datos, el RGPD, la normativa nacional, las Directivas Europeas y las distintas directrices de interpretación. - Cumplir con las exigencias del principio de Responsabilidad Activa, con la evaluación y gestión de riesgos, evaluación de Impacto (EIPD) en el tratamiento de los datos personales. - Aplicar técnicas que permitan garantizar el cumplimiento de la normativa de Protección de Datos, como son las auditorias de seguridad y auditorias de protección de datos. - Dotar al alumnado de todos los conocimientos sobre normativa y Protección de Datos que le permitirán realizar con solvencia las funciones propias del Delegado de Protección de Datos.
