The knowledge and skills of any person directly involved in the distribution of private insurance and reinsurance constitute an essential element to guarantee the quality of the service they provide. For this reason, Royal Decree 287/2021, of April 20, on training and submission of statistical-accounting information of insurance and reinsurance distributors, establishes the need for those employees who directly participate in distribution to have an ideal level of knowledge and competence regarding this activity. To comply with this requirement, INEAF published this course as a Level 3 Insurance Distributor Course with a number of 150 teaching hours. Enabling training. INEAF has notified the General Directorate of Insurance and Pension Funds of the delivery of the Level 3 Insurance Distributor training program. This meets the content, organization and execution requirements provided for in Royal Decree Law 3/2020, of February 4, Royal Decree 287/2021, of April 20, and the Resolution of June 3, 2021.

The areas where students of this Level 3 Insurance Distributor Course can develop their professional career are: Insurance distributors, insurance and reinsurance brokerages, linked insurance agencies, linked banking-insurance operators, insurance entities, financial entities, underwriting agencies and insurance agencies, among others.

With this Level 3 Insurance Distributor Course you will be provided with the necessary knowledge and skills to be able to provide information on insurance and reinsurance products. Students who successfully complete this course will be qualified to carry out the insurance distribution activity, passing the relevant controls established during the course, and will obtain the Level 3 Insurance Distributor Accreditation Training Certification.

The Level 3 Insurance Distributor Course is aimed at: 1. Insurance agents who are either natural or legal persons in cases where they provide information about insurance products. 2. Employees of insurance and reinsurance entities that provide information on insurance or reinsurance products. 3. Employees of insurance and reinsurance intermediaries who provide information on insurance or reinsurance products. 4. The people who make up the distribution networks of banking-insurance operators, in cases where they provide information on insurance products. 5. External collaborators who are natural or legal persons in cases where they provide information about insurance products. Under no circumstances may these employees carry out advisory work.
