- Know the general features of animal-assisted intervention. - Know the professional profiles and skills they must have to intervene in dog-assisted therapy. - Deepen knowledge about the behavior and behaviors of dogs. - Obtain basic notions of dog training. - Acquire the skills necessary to perform teaching duties in a training center or private academy. - Acquire the pedagogical and didactic skills necessary for the design, planning, management and implementation of a Training Plan, both in the business field and in official Non-Regulated training. - Analyze the behavior and physical characteristics of the dog, by observing its attitude towards physical contact, environmental stimulation, and interaction with it, for its selection and/or detection of characterological anomalies. - Modify the dog's behavior, so that it performs basic impulse control, obedience and overcoming obstacles exercises, through the application of a predetermined work program. - Apply the safety criteria for third parties and self-protection during the handling and training of dogs, as well as respect the regulations that concern animal welfare and protection. - Apply dog ​​driving techniques, without control of the leash by the trainer, adapted to its morphological and behavioral conditions and taking into account animal welfare, according to current regulations on the matter. - Apply obstacle-drawing training techniques, without control of the leash by the trainer, adapted to their morphological conditions and taking into account animal welfare, according to current regulations on the matter. - Apply the safety criteria for third parties and self-protection during the handling and training of dogs, as well as respect the applicable regulations on animal welfare and protection.
