Through this university master's degree, students, graduates and professionals in the health field are offered the possibility of developing their careers in centers dedicated to reproductive health, whether carrying out treatments or research, thanks to the acquisition of the following professional skills and competencies: - Know the concept of fertility and the characteristics that define it. - Describe the reproduction process and see where fertility is located in said process. - Detail the types of fertility (male and female) and the experience of each of them. - Explain the factors that influence fertility, both to promote and cause infertility. - Develop methods and techniques for preventing infertility and promoting good fertility. - Know the concept of Assisted Human Reproduction, and differentiate it from Natural Human Reproduction. - Know the factors involved in the decision to start assisted reproduction treatment, as well as the criteria that a person must meet to be able to undergo said treatment. - Describe each of the methods currently used for assisted reproduction, through the implications it has for the person and the risks it entails. - Guide the use of assisted reproduction as a treatment taking into account the legal framework that regulates it. - Describe and explain Mendel's laws, within human genetics, as well as the basic processes within molecular genetics. - Define the concepts that are part of the study of population genetics and the organization of the human genome. - Develop evolutionary theories and the processes that occur within evolutionary genetics. - Summarize and identify the types of chromosomes and their importance from the point of view of mutations. - Understand the process of embryogenesis and the mutations that occur during this process. - Delve into the concept of cryobiology, analyzing all its nuances in detail. - Acquire knowledge of the process of exposure to low temperatures and evaluate the cases obtained. - Know the use of various freezing techniques depending on the material used. - Delve into the current legislation on Assisted Reproduction to know the articles and thus provide correct performance. - Acquire knowledge in the latest assisted reproduction techniques to know the factors that can influence the degree of fertility, whether male or female. - Develop infertility prevention methods and techniques. - Establish the Spanish framework for the protection of personal data and its regulatory development. - Provide theoretical and practical training in the professional skills necessary to comply with the provisions of EUROPEAN REGULATION 2016/679 ON DATA PROTECTION and its development regulations in the health sector. - Offer the knowledge that allows exercising and complying with the rights that patients have in relation to their personal data. - Describe the different security measures applicable to files depending on the level of protection required. - Describe the different people involved in the processing of personal data, the obligations that affect them in relation to them and the consequences in the event of non-compliance.
