Description
This Pregnancy, Childbirth and Postpartum Course offers you specialized training in the material. Pregnancy is the state of the pregnant woman, in which a fetus develops in her uterus. It includes from the fertilization of the egg by the sperm until the birth or expulsion of the fetus outside. Its normal duration is 38 weeks from fertilization, that is, 40 weeks from the date of the last period. During pregnancy, a series of changes occur in the pregnant woman and the fetus, which culminates with the birth of the fetus. The puerperium is the period of time from delivery and expulsion of the placenta until approximately 6-8 weeks later.
