At the beginning of the 21st century, the interaction between genes and nutrients began to be related in a more obvious way, taking into account disciplines such as epigenetics. Taking this into account, Nutrigenomics and Nutrigenetics arise from the need to improve health and offer more specialized nutritional guidelines. The Course in Nutrigenomics and Nutrigenetics covers the main modifications in the genome, especially from an epigenetic perspective to understand the functioning of certain diseases.
