This course develops the set of basic knowledge related to Occupational Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Ergonomics and Occupational Psychosociology that must be taken into account in matters of Occupational Risk Prevention for the performance of health functions related to the practice of medicine, as the current Spanish regulations establish in matters of Occupational Health and Safety.

The professional opportunities of this PRL, Safety and Health for Medicine Course are oriented towards the management of occupational health and safety units in healthcare environments or towards the management of preventive activity for workers belonging to the staff of organizations specialized in healthcare and in which Medicine is practiced.

This ORP, Safety and Health for Medicine Course prepares you for the acquisition of the basic competencies and skills that must be developed in terms of occupational health and safety, according to the technical recommendations in this regard, in the jobs in which medical activity is carried out, especially dealing with those training aspects related to risk prevention in these very specific jobs.
