- Recognize and analyze the main properties and characteristics of the raw materials used in printing processes. - Analyze the behavior of the main materials (products, inks, varnishes, plates and supports) used in the printing, binding and manipulated system, related to their application. - Evaluate the characteristics of the quality variables of raw materials, using appropriate instruments. - Analyze the storage process of materials used in Graphic Arts. - Prepare raw materials, according to technical specifications and following current safety, hygiene and environmental regulations. - Analyze and evaluate safety and hygiene plans and the corresponding current regulations to correctly use safety means and equipment in the transport and handling of raw materials for printing. - Obtain the first printed sheets to verify the characteristics specified in the work order. - Modify the process variables to correct the characteristics according to the results of the first printed sheets. - Supervise the printing process to ensure print run uniformity through self-control. - Ensure the continuity of the run to achieve the established productivity by collecting the necessary materials. - Fill out the production reports to confirm the work carried out with incident, quality and productivity data. - Clean the machine to prepare for the next job according to established procedures.
