Currently, psychomotor skills are increasingly acquiring greater importance in the educational, health and socio-community fields, since it is a scientific discipline, permanently updatable, that studies the close relationships between the physical and the mental, thinking about the subject's body and its manifestations. Therefore, the course provides knowledge about the function of psychomotor skills, the role of the psychomotor specialist, the functioning of our body, different alternatives and games for psychomotor intervention and how to carry out said evaluation. Furthermore, given the importance of psychomotor skills in early care, this course aims to provide teachers with the knowledge and tools necessary for the design and development of preventive, optimizing and compensatory actions that facilitate the adequate maturation of children in all developmental areas.
