Therefore, this course will allow you to learn about the different values and principles on which the Reggio Emilia method is based, as well as allowing you to see the main concepts of said pedagogical method. In addition, it will also allow you to see what the role of teachers and families is in early childhood education, and how its implications can impact children.

This course is aimed at education professionals (teachers, male and female teachers, early childhood educators) who are interested in learning more about one of the educational methodologies that is having the most impact in recent years, since it provides a different approach to the traditional one. It is also aimed at professionals in art, design, architecture or cultural education who are interested in applying the principles of fine arts to the promotion of fundamental values in childhood, and in general to anyone interested in studying childhood and how to enhance new skills in children. To provide teachers with this knowledge, through this course we aim to achieve the following objectives - Know the origin and foundations of the Reggio Emilia methodology. - Identify what listening pedagogy is and how this Italian approach impacts children. - Highlight the importance of the environment as an educational agent and participant in the training and growth of children. - Explain the different perspectives that a boy or girl has and their impact on the way of educating. - Explain Malaguzzi's theory of one hundred languages and the forms of expression in childhood. - Apply the principles of art in early childhood education through the figure of the atielerista. - Work with children's emotionality from the principles and values of the Reggio Emilia method. - Know the work methodology as well as materials and activities used in this pedagogical method. - Highlight the importance of the educational couple and documentation. - Relate education and family, highlighting the fundamental role it plays in childhood.
